Postdoctoral Fellow Department of Data Science, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
Justin completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Bristol in mathematics. As part of that program he spent one year studying mathematics at Leibniz Universität Hannover in Germany. His masters in mathematical sciences was also obtained at the University of Bristol. He then went on to do a PhD in mathematics at the University of Bristol in the Applied Probability group under the guidance of Ayalvadi Ganesh. His research focused on the theory of point processes, queueing networks and their large deviations behaviour with an application to biomolecular networks. His current research interests involve developing and analyzing stochastic models of cancer progression and related statistical inference problems.
