Phillip Nicol

Phillip Nicol

Phillip is a first-year PhD student in the Department of Biostatistics at Harvard University. His research interests are in the development of statistical and computational methods to better understand tumor evolution and intratumor heterogeneity. Previously, Phillip worked in Kevin Coombes’ lab (at Ohio State University), where he developed methods to infer the temporal order of somatic mutations in cancer. He has also worked on methods to find differentially abundant cell populations in single-cell RNA-seq data. Currently, Phillip is a rotation student in the Michor lab.
