Mengran Zhang

Mengran obtained her MA in Statistics from Yale University and completed her BS in Mathematics and Economics from Syracuse University. Prior to joining DFCI, she worked as a Biostatistician/Postgraduate Associate in the Program of Aging at Yale School of Medicine and as a Bioinformatician/Statistical Analyst in Dr. Tamar Sofer’s group in the Sleep Medicine Department at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Mengran is well versed in topics related to clinical trials, Bayesian statistics (adaptive design), machine learning, NLP, generalized mixed models (healthcare), genetic survey data and genetic correlation (sleep phenotypes and cognitive measure). Her work now focuses on statistical analysis of single cell genomic data.
