Chris studied Economics with a focus on Game Theory at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität and at the Tinbergen Institute. He currently is a PhD-Candidate at the University of Amsterdam, under the supervision of Prof. van Veelen, where he works on mathematical models for the evolution of prosociality. At DFCI, Chris is interested in mathematically modeling the evolutionary dynamics of cancer initiation. His work looks at how biological structures have evolved to prevent cancer, and how this knowledge can be used to inform treatments.
